Job Description:
The marketing intern will work with the marketing department to help drive us towards future growth and new customer acquisition. This person will assist by planning and coordinating marketing campaigns, events, PR, and web content. This is a great opportunity to learn all aspects of marketing and apply what you have learned from your classes and extracurricular activities.
The primary responsibilities of marketing intern will include:
- Campaign Execution: Pitch in to help create and launch direct mail and e-mail campaigns. Track campaign launches, progress, and evaluate success.
- Public Relations: Draft press releases and assist in outbound PR activity. Develop list of key contacts in press. Execute PR campaigns.
- Tracking Events and Competitor Activity: Keep tabs on which events our competitors are attending and sponsoring. Track industry conferences to understand which would be a good fit for the company. Develop and maintain industry event calendar.
- Web Site Maintenance: Help maintain and enhance web site with new content, campaigns, and events.
- Database Maintenance and Analysis: Maintain and augment customer and prospect database. Track and analyze results and payback of campaigns and events.

Candidate Requirements:
- We are seeking rising Juniors or Seniors with some academic or extracurricular marketing experience.
- Applicants should demonstrate a solid academic record (GPA > 3.3)
- Strong communication skills
- Strong writing skills, and attention to detail.
- HTML and Web experience is highly desirable.
