Die Rheinpiraten e.v ., a bilingual Kindergarten inLeverkusen, , is looking for a native English speaking trainee for 3 to 12 months. We have 30 children in our care aged between one and ten years old. Be part of our exceptional educational programme for children! Bilingual German-English childcare with a team of four, one of whom is a teacher from .  Pre-school and early language development programmes - Computer training with programs especially developed for pre-school children with a trained computer instructor  Regular activeties in the local woods and on the banks of theRhinewith a trained nature teacher. Physical education. Theatre course for children from the age of five upwards with a professional drama teacher.

 

 

 

The Kindertagesstätte “Die Rheinpiraten” is located in Hitdorf, a charming suburb of Leverkusen directly on theRhine. The German cities of Dusseldorf and Cologne are only a few kilometers away and easy to reach (20 to 40 minutes depending on the means of transportation). Leverkusen is located in the middle of North Rhine Westphalia which is the most densely of all German federal states. There are numerous cultural attractions nearby. Nature lovers will like theBergischesLand, theEifelor the Niederrhein.

* Native English Speaking

 

* Available for 3-12 months

 

* Working hours: At least 25 hours a week in three days

 

* The person we are looking for should like to be around children warm-hearted and

 

   enthusiastic.

 

* Basic knowledge and experiences with children is necessary. Special education is

 

   desirable, but not essential.

 

*  A good sense for children and a strong interest in all questions of literacy, learning and education of children is most important.

 

 * Our young and comitted team also needs an uncomplicated person and a good

 

    team player.
